I changed my employer 3 months back and didn't expect the dates to get current so soon. My labor with the new employer has just been filed. However, my previous employer told me that if I want to continue with my gc process with them, I need to be their employee again.
Does it make sense for me to do this ? My 485 will not get filed until 10 days from now because I have yet to start with the paperwork.
Will the dates retrogress by then? Please advise me folks.

Hi,

I have a valid Visa from Employer A till May 2012. I moved to a new Employer B in Feb 2010 and my H1B was approved till Jan 2013.

I am planning to Visit India in June 2010. Can i come back to US, New Jersey with my Old Employer Visa and New Employer I797.

Hi Gurus,

If you look at my signature, My 485 has been transferred to TSC from NSC and AP is still stuck at NSC. I have some emergent situation back home , I have faxed the doctor certificate and called USCIS using POJ method and the guy says it might take another month. wat the *****....tried infopass..my local office doesnt have no more appointments.
My questions:
1. Can I take Infopass appointment anywhere else which is not my local office?
2. Can I apply a new 131 application at TSC as my 485 is there now?

Someone pls advise.

are colored photocopies of i-94/passport bio pages, DL required for paper filing the EAD/AP extensions? My employer asks for colored copies!

I am renewing advance parole (i-131 form) for me and my wife. Can some one answer what the "class of admission" means on the form and how do we fill it?

I entered the US as H1-B but moved to EAD status last month.
My wife entered the US on advance parole and is currently working on EAD.

When your passport expires, the visas on that passport are not cancelled. They remain valid.
I travelled to india and came back with the visa stamped on my old passport.

With all the uncertainity about dates moving backwards (unpredictable) is it better to go for AOS.
Is it true if you go for CP and dates move back..then your application is not approved untill dates become current?

Hi, guys:

My friend filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently on 8/6/2007. His lawyer just got a rejection letter (not RFE) from INS due to the I-140 filing fee problem: The expected filing fee is $475 and the check in his filed package is $425. It is a $50 different. Does anybody have the similar situation as my friend ? And
how do you guys handle this prolem ? Any suggestion is appreciated.
