I just spoke to a lady at USCIS and she told me they just started working on case receipts for July 2nd and onwards so in next couple of weeks most of you who filed in first week of july should see their receipts..this is what she told me and she sounded very authentic..

HAVE MS in US. But employer filed in EB3. STUCK
STILL WAITING FOR GREEN.
You should be able to switch from EB3 to EB2.
Put pressure on employer or get some other company (reputed one) to take a AC21 and start processing EB2.

2. Is one of the step "ex employer informing USCIS about the job change has gone through this"?
3. If not then what are the disadvantages or if can't trust employer ?

This is a really good site that shows the trends for everything (PERM, H1 transfer etc). Although the accuracy depends on the number of people who add their cases, it was almost exact to the day for my H1 transfer.

They were/are so busy approving cases that they donot have time to update the message. Everyone from Janitors to Execs have been working for the last week to approve those 66K cases.

For all such people who start a monthly contribution of $50 and promise (not to me or anyone else but themselves) to keep contributing for at least the next 6 months, I am going to make a one-time contribution of $50 for every such person. I have a modest upper limit, which I will disclose after the first 10 new contributors.
So people, Sept 18th is approaching fast and IV needs your contribution. Now is the time.
The only requirement is that the member has never contributed before and starts a $50 dollar recurring contribution. For every two new contributors I will make a $100 one-time contribution. Moderators may verify my contribution.
